2009 BMW X5 X-Drive 530i - We've been saying for years ("we" means "Phil", for accuracy's sake) that for the next healthy number of years, diesel will be the way forward. 

Clearly, BMW heard our prediction and they've churned out a healthy fleet of them in response, including this X5, which they have, lovingly, put into the fleet for our members to test and enjoy. 

If you like heaploads of torque, great performance, swift acceleration, room for five, 600 mile range per tank and 30 percent fewer emitions than a petrol motor, give pearse a ring to get behind the wheel.

Kart Attack at GPNY (Tuesday, Sept. 29th) - This month, Classic Car Club is heading back to GPNY to do battle on the half-mile super track.  We will be running our new tournament-style configuration which keeps all skill levels competitive and quick.  As always, dinner will be served and we leave from CCC after work at 6pm. 

We need a minimum of 30 drivers for the super track, so if you want to come, please sign up with Jeannette by next Friday the latest.

CCC Hosts Art Of The Automobile (Thursday, Sept. 24, 7pm) - Before CCC came to New York, 250 Hudson Street was a rogue art gallery.  With the help of fellow member Fred Harper, CCC will be converted back to a gallery for the night so we can present the works of more than 10 successful artists and their take on the automobile. 

The line up for the evening includes Fred Harper, Christopher Conte, Molly Crabapple, Steve Ellis, Chris Cavido, Bernardo Corman and others.  The art displayed will be for sale and cocktails will be served.  Please RSVP with Jeannette if you would like to attend.

CCC Garage Sale! - At Classic Car Club, we're always working hard to rotate new cars through the fleet.  In the coming weeks, we will be adding a healthy number of new and vintage cars to the fleet for you to drive and enjoy.  But to do that, we have to make room.  Therefore, we're selling a few cars in the fleet, including the FJ Cruiser, the Honda S2000, the '99 E-55 Mercedes Benz, 911 Turbo, Corvette Z06 and a few others. 

If there's a car in the club you'd like to see in your own garage, give Zac a call to discuss. 

Autogasm (September 30th) - September is the real driving season, so on the 30th, we'll be taking a fleet of supercars out through the Bear Mountain region for some Fall flogging.  This is your chance to get behind the wheel of the cars in your dreams, including the F340 Ferrari, Ford GT, Lamborghini Gallardo, Nissan GT-R and the like.  Space is incredibly limited so RSVP with Jeannette if you'd like to attend.  We leave from CCC at 10am and return approximately by 4pm.  Cocktail hour to follow at CCC.
