Kart Attack (Tuesday July 21) - Once again, we're heading to Grand Prix New York after work (6pm departure from CCC) for our monthly kart race.

For those of you that like to shake up the system, we'll be racing a new format this month and we'll be doing it at a new, lower price - who loves you?

This will be a two-hour track session, tournament style. There will be two skill levels and a handful of heats. Everyone gets a lot of tracktime, but only the winners get the glory. Dinner will be provided trackside.

Vintage Autogasm (Friday, July 24) - While there's something therapudic or relgious about escaping in one of our awesome vintage cars on your own, sometimes it's good to have a few friends along, so you don't look like Billy-No-Mates.  If cohorts are hard to come by, or, more likely, you just like to hang out with your fellow members, then come on our Friday vintage autogasm.  

We'll be taking a collection of the old girls ('68 911, 308 Ferrari, Triumph TR-6, Zac's Aunt Bessie, etc)  out through the Bear Mountain region for some up shift, down shift fun through all the challanging corners Bear Mountain has to lob at us. 

We'll leave by 10am and will return by 4pm.  Lunch is served aong the way.

Ariel Atom Track Day (Friday, July 31st) - This is it. The mother of all track days. Classic Car Club is heading down to VIR - that's in Virginia for those of you not good with acronyms - to drive the legendary Ariel Atom at speed. We leave Thursday night (July 30th) via jet and have an entire day on the track, which is booked privately, just for us. While there, we'll have one of the greatest tracks in the country to ourselves for some instructional driving, open passing and full on amazing driving.  Michael was there last Friday and with little effort (and ability) got the Atom to the 150mph mark before getting on the brakes.

For those of you living under a rock without the IntraWeb, here's something to show you just what the Atom's all about.

 

The trip is all inclusive (flights, race gear, transport to and from the track, lodging) and comes in at $2,250pp.
