Have a need for speed?

Want to experience what a fistfull of G's in the corner feels like?

Prefer to have an interesting story for your co-workers on Monday, rather than tales of the Jitney?

Then read below and RSVP.

Speed Fixes One + Two

Kart Attack (Tuesday July 21) - Once again, we're heading to Grand Prix New York after work (6pm departure from CCC) for our monthly kart race.

We're changing up the format and the price this time though.  This will be a two-hour track session, tournament style.  There will be two skill levels and a handful of heats. Everyone gets a lot of tracktime, but only the winners get the glory.  Dinner will be provided trackside.

Cost is $150pp.  If you would like to participate, RSVP with Jeannette.

Ariel Atom Track Day (Friday, July 31st) - This is it.  The mother of all track days.  Classic Car Club is heading down to VIR - that's in Virginia for those of you not good with acronyms - to drive the legendary Ariel Atom at speed.  We leave Thursday night (July 30th) via jet and have an entire day on the track, which is booked privately, just for us.  While there, we'll have skid pad instruction, classroom time and loads of time on the track with the car and an instructor who's there to get you going faster than you thought possible.

For those of you living under a rock without the IntraWeb, here's something to show you just what the Atom's all about.

The trip is all inclusive (flights, race gear, transport to and from the track, lodging) and comes in at $2,250pp.

RSVP with Jeannette.

YouTubin'

We know that speed is more addictive than crack, or FaceTube, but sometimes you need someone to push you over the edge and just take the hit.  Perhaps this fine medley of quickness will help.
