In response to your ever-increasing appetite for great driving experiences, the CCC fleet has grown to include more top-end sports cars than ever - most recently in the form of the ferociously fast Nissan GT-R. Those who remember the early days of CCC Manhattan can surely appreciate that we’ve come a long way from our humble beginnings. To account for the new level of cars in the fleet, we have instituted band 8, which will start with the Nissan GT-R. Zac and Mike are also donating their 2006 BMW M6 to Band 8 and there will be more to come. The point consumption for this new band will be calculated just as any other band, but the cars within it will be limited to 100 miles per day and 300 for a four-day weekend ($1 per mile over limit).

The temperature has officially dropped, which means caution and judgement are more important than ever.  In the past two years, Classic Car Club has suffered a number of costly crashes in very expensive cars, all due to the same reason - members driving poorly and beyond their ability in high-powered cars, oftentimes in less-than-ideal conditions.  Remember that driving foolishly and beyond your abilities affects more than just you.  It puts others on the road in danger and it puts your club in peril.  To keep you and our cars safe, Classic Car Club will be pulling certain cars off the road should weather conditions become dangerous, so please have a backup if you've booked something ill-equipped for poor conditions. With some of the supercars equipped with hard compound tires that can’t grip cold roads, we may ask you to reschedule for a warmer day even if the sun is out. If the weather is really treacherous, all bookings will be cancelled.

Classic Car Club is happy to provide EZ-Passes to make members' journey easy, as we've done in the past, but from December 15th going forward, any member who would like to benefit from the convenience of our EZ Passes will be required to activate a $200 EZ-Pass and fuel account with Classic Car Club.  This policy is going into place, as declared EZ-Pass use has been much lower than the actual invoices we have been receiving and subsidizing.   Members who do so will retain EZ-Pass privileges as well as receive fuel top-offs for $1/gal less than our normal rate.  Accounts will be replenished when they dip below $50.  To activate this service, contact Joana and she will notate your account.

As stated above, some of Classic Car Club's most powerful and expensive cars have been damaged, due to irresponsible driving.  Therefore, while cars and members are still covered by our insurance policy, a mandatory $10,000 collision authorization will be placed on a credit card for those driving selected cars moving forward.  This list currently includes the Ford GT, Nissan GT-R, Porsche GT3, Corvette Z06 and soon-to-arrive Audi R8.  Upon safe return, the authorization will be cleared.
