2008 BMW M3 -

You know we always get the good stuff first and the new M3 is no exception.  It's the first 3 series car to sport a brutish V-8 motor and, after a few break in days behind the wheel, we've decided it @#*& rips!  It's outfitted with a traditional six-speed manual gearbox for all the purists, so call the club to get the keys.

Hulk Mobile -

Ferraris and Porsches are fun, but sometimes you need a bit more monster in your ride.  Last week, we became the proud owners of a....... project.  It's actually Michael and Zac's new favorite in the fleet, but we're not unveiling it just yet.  First we're taking the tourch and TIG to her, as well as $20K worth of parts to turn her into the ultimate CCC open-top monster masher.

FREAKATORIUM!! -

Classic Car Club hosted its first Freakatorium weekend with master taylor and all-around good bloke Duncan Quinn.  Del Posto super chef Mario Carbone cooked up the meals, we kicked back a small fortune's worth of vintage Bourdeaux, drove supercars through the mountains and had a full burlesque show to top it off.  We're going back to our Upstate bordello in the late Summer, so if you would like to be a part of it, let us know as soon as possible.

Ecosse Moto Works Happy Hour -

CCC is very excited to have Ecosse Motorcycles at the club for our May 8th happy hour. Ecosse founder and designer Don Atchison will be on hand, as will the Heretic - the bike that's been on the cover of Robb Report, Surface magazine, Motorcycle News and others.  Please RSVP by May 4. 

Track Attack -

We've taken over Lime Rock twice already this month and a lot of our members are morphing into the next Kimi Raikkonen.  If you would like to get some tracktime in, we're going to Skip Barber race school May 29th and July 1st.  Call the club and ask for Jeff for more information. 

CCC Enduro Kart Series, Part III -

We headed up to Grand Prix New York again for our third evening endurance race of the year.  The karts have become incredibly quick and after some rib-smashing fun, Eric and Ozzy wound up on the top podium again.  Our next race is the evening of May 13th (sabotaging Eric and Ozzy's kart starts at noon) so if you have a need for speed, please RSVP by May 1.

Motorbikes! -

For all those two-wheelers in the club, it's time to twist the wrist, get out of the city and do some serious riding.  Michael's planning a run for Saturday, May 10.  If you want to come along, email him at mikep@classiccarclub.com.

Fellow CCC member Tim Lehmann isn't only a Porshe-a-holic, he's also the mind behind The Autobahn Experience - Europe's primo driving tour organizer.  Want to drive a Porsche at 150mph? Spin out a few barrelrolls in a vintage fighter plane?  Tour the Porsche factory in Stuggart?  Explore Germany in five-star hotels?  Then let Tim know at info@theautobahnexperience.com by May 6th for his June 22nd trip.

Starting June 1st, our beloved member's lounge will be getting a massive facelift.  New bar, custom furniture, architectural lighting and motors on hooks!  We'll save a seat for you at the bar.

Mechanical Sympathy -

We wanted to gently remind you to employ "mechanical sympathy" when driving the cars, especially now that the weather's warming up and we will all be on the road more.  We've had some mechanical issues in the past few months that could have been avoided if the cars were treated with a bit more love.
